There is something for everyone to enjoy

The spectacular Elan Valley with its amazing dams, Offa’s Dyke and Glyndwr’s Way together with footpaths and bridleways and open hill make for wonderful scenic walking. 

Hay on Wye has the internationally renowned Literary Festival in May but is well worth a visit year round for its second hand bookshops, good shopping and cafés and restaurants.

Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells, Kington, Knighton and Presteigne are all small local towns each with its own individual style.  They all have local shops as well as some of the larger chains and supermarkets.  If eating out is your pleasure, then there are pubs and restaurants to suit every taste and pocket. Throughout the year there are events and activities from the world famous Royal Welsh Show in June and the Hay Festival  to local agricultural shows, festivals, trotting races, ploughing matches and fetes and fairs.  Travelling around Radnorshire is easy, the “A” roads are wide and mainly quiet and once off the main roads you can explore the many small lanes and byways that take you to the hidden parts of Radnorshire.
